Charis Cupboard

The word “charis” means “grace.” The Charis Cupboard exists to share the love and grace of Jesus Christ by helping to meet the physical needs of our neighbors.

Many churches and organizations in Meadville assist those in need with food and shelter. Calvary wanted to help the community in an area where no assistance is currently available.

On the first Saturday of each month, residents of Meadville can receive a paper bag full of paper products, detergents, and personal hygiene items. The bags are assembled and distributed by volunteers from Calvary Baptist Church.

Charis Cupboard is open the first Saturday of every month from 10-11 am.

To receive assistance, please bring a photo ID and a current utility bill to confirm residence in Meadville.
